MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Meet Cecilia. Studio Y3 Founder and Yoga Instructor
  • Founder

Cecilia's teaching style puts great emphasis on building strength, relieving tension, and guiding the mind towards stillness, to cultivate a deeper sense of embodiment. Her classes carefully link music to mindful movement and breath. With a background in Psychology, Cecilia recognizes that mindfulness and building a connection with yourself, through movement and breath, are essential for overall clarity and well-being.

She doesn't teach in Sanskrit, nor does she push you into postures that you might not feel comfortable with. The classes are adjusted according to who is in front of her, making the practice accessible to you, even if this is your first ever encounter with yoga. You will always find a combination of, Pranayama (breath), Pratyahara (sense withdrawal), Asanas (physical postures), and Dhyana (meditation) in her classes, in order for you to fully embark on the journey of the self.

Her signature classes are full of dynamic movement that will not only build strength but also create more space for the things in life that serve you.

As a yoga teacher, her mission is to cultivate an environment centered around mindful movement and intention. Her favorite aspect of teaching yoga is being a part of creating an energy that is bigger than herself. In her classes, you will get lost in music, push through barriers, and leave feeling stronger in your body and more at peace within your thoughts.
